The San Antonio TX chapter of the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) club of Texas continues to play and enjoy Valour & Fortitude in 15mm. We have been playing for a couple of months now, enjoying a re-birth so to speak of Napoleonic gaming after a pretty long drought. The rules are just enough to keep the flavor of Napoleonic gaming without being too complicated to play or enjoy. Four of us met up on a Friday night and played a full game in under 3 hours (including setup and the after-action review and discussion!!

San Antonio Friday night Napoleonics! Myself, Rob, Dave and Gary met up at Dragon's Lair Medical Center on Friday for some 15mm Valour and Fortitude wargaming. This week featured the French and Saxons against the British/Spanish and Russians. Another well fought battle – it was great to have Dave Bennett join us this week.

We continue to learn the rules and are moving right along, games are going faster without us having to refer back to the rules as often. The game is fairly easy to play and fun at the same time.

On the other flank the Anglo=Spanish begins he attack: Dave (Allies) and Rob )Frenc):

We are always looking for new players to join us – we play every other Friday .

This game featured the allies on the attack, both the Russians and the British/Spanish moved quickly to engage the enemy, both sides suffered heavy casualties and the game ended with both sides claiming victory. We are playing every other Friday in San Antonio = watch for more battle reports!
