I've been there! Did a reenactment there in 2022 – got really cold at night! Saw the last of the old telephone booths – really with I'd got a picture of myself in it.
This sounds like a very interesting battle to fight in miniature. I wish I could see it!

I was there as an extra for the mini series "The Blue and the Gray". Had a good time filming it, camped on the field, fed us great, paid us little. But my first movie, so had fun. Was a very mediocre Mini series though and only my knee got on camera as a casualty on the ground. 🙂

Good game to play out. The federals will prolly win , but both sides have a chance.
