I plan on a Congo game what involves the Tsavo lions. Remember, "The Ghost and the Darkness?" See picture here

These are male with no mane. Does any company make such models in 25-28mm? Would a "standard" female lion suffice? Thanks

I think a lioness would work – and Wargames Foundry makes them

Bob, I just used models from a dollar store bag of critters.

It sounds like you want large, aggressive looking lionesses. The Foundry lioness lying down or perhaps creeping up to ambush her prey would not make the cut.

Thanks for all the good comments. I went to Foundry and also checked local $ store. Good with former, no luck at latter. I can always count of the TMP for good info. Useful link from Grelber, thanks.
